The Role

We are seeking an experienced account manager to join our expanding team. You will be able to demonstrate consultative B2B sales experience to effectively manage activity and develop ongoing growth and new up/cross-sell pipeline to our clients, predominately within the Financial Services sector & Lending related segments.

 

Job Purpose

You will be responsible for on-boarding our clients with our Customer Success team to ensure early and ongoing revenue traction of monthly and multiyear contract values.

 

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining customer relationships to deliver insights from our client businesses
  • Identifying and developing new opportunities and growing the provision of services to existing clients
  • Ensuring renewal of contracts is on target and closed within appropriate timescales
  • Developing ongoing telephone-based contact management strategy
  • Developing and managing plans for each client that clearly provide a view of the future opportunities, risks and threats
  • Ensuring that accurate and robust forecasting is delivered each week
  • Working to and achieve best practice performance and sales standards
  • Full use of CRM to record activity
  • Remaining current and up to date on current affairs, especially those that affect the Financial Services sector and Funding Segments

 

Skills and Experience

  • Previous Account Management experience in Fintech, SAAS business or similar
  • Experience of working in a high growth, fast paced technology start-up environment
  • Technology savvy and competent in MS Office/CRM/Web based productivity tools
  • Strong relationship building and needs-analysis approach to selling
  • Experience and ability to influence, manage and sell to organisations with multiple decision makers
